Some
of you have been asking if Willie would ever make the WFF
Homecoming Mantle Clock on the front of the 2008 brochure
available for collectors. (It is a picture of the clock he
made for his wife Jenny). The answer to the question is yes,
and it is now available in limited numbers in two different
colors. About half of the clocks are already spoken for so
if this interests you let us know soon. Shipping
begins this summer.
 Last
but not least is the WFF
Display Box. We have had one in our store for several
months and it has been a huge hit with collectors. It comes
in two colors, and shipping begins this summer.
We
have the summer insert, but when winter came we figured out
how to make our own backdrop for the holidays. It is extremely
well lighted, but does require and electrical outlet.
There
are two inserts available at this time, the summer
insert and the winter
insert. Watch for more inserts in the future.

WFF Retirement News
As
you know, each year Wee Forest Folk discontinues a few sculptures
on the line.
The 2010 retirement list was announced on Sunday, February
21st.
Twenty
one mice were retired this year. Check out the WFF
site to see the list and the pictures.
We
have all but five of the retired pieces in stock.
While
this can change at any moment, the pieces that are currently
NOT available are: Jack and Jacob from the Jolly Tar Sailors;
Tennis Champs! w/mini Winnie; Tennis Champs! wWinston Jr:
and Mini Winnie.
We
have at least one of each of the others.

were each asked to submit eight highly embellished versions
of the My Little Yellow Basket piece so that one could be
chosen for limited production. Of the 24 choices, this was
the hands-down favorite of everyone. It is so detailed that
only a few of the painters can do it! These two limited pieces
will only be available through the end of April, 2009, so
be sure to get your order in early.

theme. Donna responded specifically to collectors requests
for some less expensive pieces when she designed Teencie,

2007 WFF Pieces
10/18/07 - Look
at another surprise from Wee Forest Folk! Willie has
presented us with seven adorable sculptures representing
little
children playing with their stuffed animals. We
can't agree on our favorites.
We
have exciting news! Wee Forest Folk has produced a
special new series, available only at their top 30
dealers. It consists of six characters from Alice
in Wonderland, all sculpted by Willy and available
over the next five months, starting in August, 2007.
We
think it is ADORABLE, and extra special because it
has a background piece - a flower covered wall with
the Cheshire Cat sitting on it - that makes a unique
grouping.

9, 2005 ~ Today is the big day for all Wee Forest Folk
collectors!!! The new 2005 introductions have been announced
and this is definitely a whopper of an introduction! Our kudos
to the Petersens!! In addition to six new pieces in the regular
line, they have given us a whole new category called "Meadow
Muses", a group of seven sculptures depicting
paintings from some of the great Masters. Among this group
you will find one with cats,
two with rabbits and a squirrel
representing Monet, Degas, Renoir, and Gauguin, What fun!!

Bake Sale looks like a 4th of July fund raiser. The mice

Class Room have new outfits and a new apple and a new
flag. Sugar
and Spice has a flag dress and star shaped cookies. Mousie's
Matinee has gone 3-D. What
a Kicker! has a goal to kick the ball through plus USA
on the front of the shirt and 2005 on the back.

Cabin Boy is a little boy playing the ship's lookout

The
Peterson's introduced a Wee Forest Folk Collectors piece
for 2003 called Greetings! Sculpted by Donna, this peaceful
martian comes complete with glittered antennae and her
own private space ship. It is available from authorized
WFF retailers at WFF Events. Each event will carry the
martian in a variety of colors. Colors will change throughout
the year. |

The
Mole Hole at Cherry Creek had four events this year
including ones featuring Halloween and Christmas colors.
We still have some of the colors available.

About Wee Forest Folk
Extra
Special Lottery Pieces
Occassionally, Wee Forest Folk announces special lottery pieces
that are available in limited quantities and only at certain
stores selected in a lottery drawing. So far, there have been
two lottery pieces. See the information below.

Pedal
Pusher *Extra Special*
Wee Forest Folk only made around 150 of this red and
white car with star wheels. It was awarded to a few
retailers by a lottery drawing. We were not one of the
lucky stores, but we're posting the picture for our
collectors' information.

Brushing
Up *Extra Special*
A second "lottery" piece has been announced.
It is "Brushing Up" with a colonial flag (minus
a few stars) painted on the lid. 350 were produced and
35 stores received 10 each. We were not one of the stores
to win, but we're posting a picture of the piece for our
collectors. |

The Milestone - 2001 Wee Forest Folk Limited Piece
This
mouse is on a mission to find Wee Forest Folk and he
has the encouragement of Mr. Chickadee to help him find
his way. Mr. Mouse wears a sage green jacket with blue
trim, a rust vest and beige trousers.
This
cute piece was designed by Willy, and only 2500 pieces
were produced. We no longer have any of this piece available
and are posting the picture for our collectors' information.

Clear - 2000 Wee Forest Folk Limited Piece
This special sculpture for the millennium, by Annette,
Donna and Willy became available on January 1, 2000.
Production was limited to the number ordered by December
31, 2000. "Crystal Clear" is signed by all
three sculptors.
